To Write is...

A collection of six web-based text-editing tools that reimagine writing as an embodied act beyond the purely linguistic one. Each tool amplifies a physical or mental gesture that occurs before language takes shape. As one writes. The acts of lingering, catching, connecting, etc. are materialized into visual behavior of text. The project invites users to experience language as something alive and responsive to thought, movement, and time.
